GENERAL INFORMATION
Passing the Series 6 exam qualifies candidates as registered representatives. The examination covers the solicitation and sale of mutual funds, closed-end funds and variable annuities and life insurance. To take this exam you must be sponsored by a firm who is a member of the NASD or is a Self Regulatory Organization (SRO).
Passing the Series 63 qualifies candidates as securities agents. The examination covers state securities regulation reflected in the Uniform Securities Act.
Exam Advantage (on CD):
Computerized test simulation program.
- Learning Test provides study by topic and gives an explanation of why the correct answer is the best choice.
- Timed Test simulates the state insurance exam. When exam is complete, review the results page to see which topics need additional study.
- Guarantee Exam has all new questions and can be taken only once. If you score 85% on our guarantee exam and then do not pass your state exam we will refund the cost of the Exam Advantage.
- Once registered, program may be used for 90 days.
- Maximum of 2 concurrent registrations allowed per purchase.
